Why don't we ship candy in the summer?
It's all about the butter! And unfortunately, our family recipe using Irish butter and real sugar doesn't mix well with heat. Even with plenty of insulation, if it is left on a hot delivery truck all day, it will melt before it arrives. For that reason, we stop shipping candy as the weather warms up, and resume when it starts to cool down, usually in mid to late September. If you are local, we encourage you to visit our tasting room, where we sell candy year-round!
We do not make money on shipping - in fact, we often lose it. Our shipping prices are listed in full below.
